Just because you are bonded by blood.

Does not mean you are a family.

Even a stranger once.

Because family is not bonded by blood.

But by the hardships you go through  together.

I have always wished that I could go back in time, to re-do all the bad decisions I did and also avoid the ones that made a huge negative impact in my life. But when I thought about it again, if I had the chance to wish for that, I surely would not. Life has many paths, and I believe they are not parallel. When you change one thing in the past, not only the future will change, but the journey as well. 

In my life so far, I have met countless number of people, good honest strangers that eventually became friends. By changing the past, who knows if these people would exist in my life or not. And without these people, I would not know where I would be. I have always thought about being a lone wolf. Go about my life all alone. Maybe make friends with random strangers with no attachments, but I know, that is not the best for me, even though it sounds like a good plan. Whatever happened until now, I am glad it did. Be it the good moments or the bad moments, I am just thankful. It is what shapes a person. It is what molds us to become the person we hope to be in the future. So, be careful what you wish for.

 Live life in the present. Don't look back in the past. Prepare for the future.
